Gothic Americana by Octoberwych

Welcome to my darkly creative world. I have been a mostly starving artist for nigh on to 40 years. I started creating gothic prims a few years back because I simply could not find what I wanted in stores. All creations are original in design and finished in primitive, often grungy style with hand sculptured and hand-stitched pieces. I work with mixed media which is fancy terminology meaning I use whatever works **grin**, including wood, canvas, wool, homespun, rusty metal and paper mache/paper clay. One of my favorite things to do (I call it the Frankenstein Syndrome) is rescue a hard-used piece from a resale shop or garage sale with good bones and give it new life.

A short video slide show - just random shots of October Country USA creations (made 2018)

What follows are still shots of some of the creations.
